Corporate Governance is still overlooked in much of Australian Business

In July 2016, as the final phase of his master’s degree in Corporate Governance, Brett Flower started researching the support and environment that Australian directors face when entering office. As a novice Managing Director five years earlier, enduring a 20 year climb to the pinnacle of corporate life, he had been exposed to a comprehensive lack of support. Having unsuccessfully lobbied his parent company for recognition of the burdensome Australian Landscape, he resigned as Managing Director – at the peak of his career. Was this the exception or was it the norm?

Partner Visas in Australia
