Andy Turnbull


Andy Turnbull has been a principal in and advisor to the marketing services industry for 25 years in Europe and Australia. As Group Finance Director and Group Managing Director of Healthworld’s European communications operations, Andy was instrumental in securing its NASDAQ listing and a major contributor to subsequently achieving 250% increase in the share price from IPO to sale.

In Australia, his company Inconcert has acted for a number of industry leaders providing counsel and advisory services, business planning consultancy and advising on acquisition and sale transactions.

Andy is also Chief Executive of the Council for Inter Parliamentary Sport, a global organisation with over 500 politicians participating in it’s sports programmes. In Australia, he is responsible for the organisation of the Australian Parliament Sports Club, which recognises the interface between sport, politics and business whilst raising substantial sums for charitable organisations, and the Sports Advocacy Group, a think tank aimed at influencing the role sport plays in improving the health and education of all Australians, especially with respect to the positive values inherent within sport.

Inconcert is an Associate of Results International Group, the leading M & A advisor in the sector.

Andrew Chick
Chairman

Andrew Chick currently holds various positions in the FinTech, RegTech and EdTech sectors including Executive Director, Manning Asset Management; Senior Advisor, Payoneer; Advisory Board, Credi; Non Executive Director, QPay; Non Executive
Director, JobHack and Mentor at Tyro FinTech Hub.

He is also a Councillor with the Australian British Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Australian British FinTech Cyber Catalyst. Andrew was formerly the CEO of The Royal Bank of Scotland, Australia and New Zealand having worked for the bank for 20 years in New York, London and Sydney.

Prior to this Andrew was a lawyer at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) in Sydney.

Professor Christine Bennett AO, MBBS FRACP Master Paed
Member

Professor Bennett was appointed to the role of Professor and Dean, School of Medicine, Sydney, The University of Notre Dame Australia in May 2011. 

Professor Bennett is a specialist paediatrician and has over 30 years of health industry experience in clinical care, strategic planning, business operations and senior management in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. 

Professor Bennett is currently the Chair of Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and HETI Academic Board.  She sits on the boards of Regis Healthcare Limited; Capital Markets CRC, Digital Health CRC and Lorica Health.  

In February 2008, Professor Bennett was appointed as Chair of the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission providing advice on a long term blue print for the future of the Australian health system and aged care.  The Commission’s final report was presented to the Government in June 2009.

Professor Christine Bennett was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the Australia Day 2014 Honours List.

 

Hon Jillian Skinner
Member

Jillian Skinner retired in 2017 after six years as NSW Health Minister. She was the first Minister for Medical Research in NSW and, having spent 14 years as Shadow Health Minister, was one of the most experienced health politicians in the country.

She reformed the NSW public health system, increasing treatment, transparency and accountability with local district health boards, redeveloping hundreds of hospitals, boosting investment in IT, integrated community-based care, medical research and social policy programs including organ donation, pain management, improved palliative care and elimination of the transmission of HIV.

Mrs Skinner has continued her passion for health through numerous part time engagements.  In 2018 she was conferred Doctor of Science honoris causa by Macquarie University in recognition of her contribution to healthcare and health policy in New South Wales.

She began her career as a journalist in Melbourne, has run her own business, worked in the public sector and served on many community and advisory bodies. 

 

Australian British Infrastructure Catalyst Committee

Philip Davies
Chairman

Philip has over twenty five years public and private sector experience in the development of infrastructure policy, planning, prioritisation and delivery of major investments and the optimisation of community services.

Philip is an Infrastructure Advisory Partner with Deloitte and has successfully led global organisations delivering policy reform, strategy development and implementation, infrastructure projects from problem definition to operation, and the transformation of service delivery outcomes.

He is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Fellow of Engineers Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Philip was until recently, the CEO of Infrastructure Australia, and led the development of the national Australian Infrastructure Audit, the 15 year Australian Infrastructure Plan, a series of planning and market reform recommendations, and the development of the national list of priority investments, the Infrastructure Priority List.

Philip also chairs the Australian Logistics Council and the SMART Infrastructure facility advisory council at the University of Wollongong.
