Australia - have a voice in the occupation lists, by Visa Executive

The Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business regularly reviews the skilled migration occupation lists to ensure they are responsive to genuine skill needs across Australia. These lists underpin a range of employer-sponsored, points-tested, state-nominated and training visa programs.

The next update to Australia’s skilled migration occupation lists is scheduled to be announced in March 2020.

On 4 September 2019, the Department commenced a review of the skilled migration occupation lists.

Visa Executive always encourages our clients to make their voice heard and to participate in Government.  The Department of Employment are currently meeting with interested stakeholders. If you would like to meet with representatives of the Department please email skilledmigrationlist@employment.gov.au.

Please note: the online submission process is not yet open. Please see the Consultation on Skilled Migration Occupation Lists page for the review timeline and details on when you can make a submission to us.
